"Prices are good, small size tortillas tacos but like I said the price is good!"
"They put cheap hot dogs made of chicken and pork, Not all Beef!"
"Great food and a super helpful staff working here."
5 Best Tacos around, hands down. Do not forget to pickup some tacos de Al Pastor. Solid spot, limited seating as chairs and tables are set up along side the truck. Cash only.
5 Some of the best tacos and special treats in east LA. There asada nachos and burritos smack. The salsa here the one of the reasons why this place is amazing it’s nice and spicy as it’s suppose to be. Anyone looking to get some good food for a great price come here and try Jason’s tacos they won’t disappoint. Thank you Jason for always keeping the salsa nice and spicy 1# reason I come here is for the amazing salsa
5 Really loved the lengua tacos here. The meat was soft and tender.
4 Tacos were good! Saw all the hype on Instagram and while they are good, the Al Pastor was not great, sadly. We were really looking forward to it. The mulitas de asada were great. Customer services was solemn... nice truck, nice set up, nice variety.
5 Banger taco truck. Parking a mild pain because it's a busy area. Great atmosphere. Review is only on the al pastor tacos since that's all I got. Great $2 tacos with a fantastic filling to price ratio. Nice selection of salsas. Love seeing that trompo spin. Horchata was also nice. After some delicious tacos, go up a few blocks to the churro truck.
5 They have really good carne asada fries. Tacos are also really good. Cute little sidebar with unlimited condiments and handmade sauces.
5 THE BEST!!! This is our favorite taco truck anytime we are craving asada fries, tacos or alambres!!!! I am using exclamation marks cause this place is the freaking best!!!! The asada fries (you can actually get any meat you want) come loaded with nacho cheese, shredded cheese and sour cream. They don’t cheap out on the amount of meat they put on them either. They have a salsa (green, cuac and red) and veggie bar (cucumber, pickled onions and sometimes radish). You get to pack or load your food with the items that you want from the salsa/veggie bar. For our most recent order we got half carne asada and half tripa and a large horchata and our total was $20. Highly recommended!
4 Late night taco truck with some great sandwiches. Torta Cubana is $9 sandwich filled with asada, ham, suadero, sausage, avocado, and a fried egg. It is big enough for 2. Tacos and burritos are quite good as well. They provide sliced radishes, pickled onion slices, and cucumbers on a small table outside.
Many customers rave about the tacos de Al Pastor, lengua tacos, and asada nachos. The salsa is also a highlight, known for being nicely spicy.
It’s a casual spot perfect for a quick bite, with seating set up alongside the taco truck for a laid-back dining experience.
Jason’s Tacos can get busy, especially since seating is limited, so visiting outside typical lunch and dinner rush hours is recommended.
The place is casual and good for groups and kids, though seating is limited, so larger groups might need to plan accordingly.
Jason’s Tacos accepts cash only, so be sure to bring cash with you.
There is free street parking and a free parking lot nearby, but it can be a bit busy given the location on Whittier Blvd.
